Simply Home was founded in the late 1980’s. In the early 2000’s they began to focus on how to best support individuals inside of their own homes using highly customized plans and a thorough assessment process.
There may be a temptation to think our loved one with disabilities has needs which are too high for technology to be a solution. Simply Home invites us to visit their you tube channel and see who is benefitting from at home technology. There is not a group or population they limit from their services.
The use of technology in a custom home is saving thousands of dollars for service providers and families utilizing the model. There are a variety of funding options available to cover the cost of a custom home such as grants, waivers, long term care insurance, and more.
